how do I speak/ email a person for help with a topic not covered

does anyone know how I get answers to 2 questions I have.

1. I was purchasing a chain saw & it said it required a credit card to assertaim that I was over 18 & that it would NOT take payment. I entered it & it took payment from it & I had wanted to pay with paypal.

2. I was offer a £10 discount if I got the app so I did & have never had my £10.

I want to ask about both these things but cannot find a way to an email or chat or phone or any type of customer support on these subjects. Can anyone help please

There is no email facility for eBay that they reply to, but this is the easiest and quickest way to contact eBay Customer Services, for a Call Back option.  Hope they can sort this for you.

Lines open  for ' live agents'  8 a.m. - 10 p.m. on weekdays


9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on weekends.


Automated agents will be available on chat outside of the above hours.


I recommend contacting CS first thing in the morning as there's more chance of Dublin answering.

You have to add credit card as proof of age, so they will use that as payment.

Using Paypal does not prove your age.

But you can add CC as default payment on paypal.

Check T&C's of app discount offer, not always given immediately.
