I have a question regarding an item that I listed which sold, for £75, where the buyer has received the item but is asking for accessories that were not shown on the listing photos or mentioned in the listing text. What is the official position with eBay regarding this situation where a buyer is asking for items that were not included in the listing text or photos?

Thanks for your reply. This item included the main parts required to function as described in the listing. As a gesture of goodwill and to keep the buyer happy, I have agreed to send 1 of the accessories requested. The buyer has indicated that’s all they want and they would purchase the other accessories. So the buyer will be getting what they purchased in buying the listing plus 1 accessory.

eBay tend to side with buyers. If it's the sort of item that normally comes with any necessary accessories and it doesnt work as fully as you'd expect it to without them the buyer probably has a case. If you decide to agree to refund make sure you get it back first.

Depends as already said on the situation and what buyer thinks he should get.
If the requests are unreasonable, you might be able to argue that he is requesting something not offered, but ebay tends to side with buyers, and reason gets thrown out the window.

If they wish to purchase the other accessories, then accede to their request, don't turn a sale down.
List the accessories, then send the buyer a message, that they are listed if they wish to buy them now, from your eBay listing.
