Seller has told me they lost the item.
Problem is, they have created a delivery label so the ebay auto bot cannot help me because they think the item is in transit.
How on God's green earth to I contact ebay to getting order refunded?

This is not for eBay's hands, the seller can action a cancellation.
Send them a message to cancel the order , this will fully refund you.
If they don't, then you need to wait one day after the item's last estimated date for delivery, and open a case for item not received.

Ebay can't cancel it, only seller can.
No reason seller can't cancel & refund you now.
Unfortunately as said, if seller does not do this, only option is to open item not received case & escalate after 3 days.

Seller says they do not have the option to cancel it.
And I'll be buggered if I am going to wait 3 days just to do what I should be able to do today.
Sorry you are misinformed, the seller can cancel the item, perhaps they do not know how? Send them here and someone can show them what to do.
The item does not have to be dispatched, you have paid so when the seller cancels the order you will be refunded. Was it buyer pays for postage? Then, you will automatically receive a refund for this and that can take 30 days.
Those are the rules.
