Just started to list some items after a breather and using other sites. This whole postage thing that ebay have created is an absolute nightmare. It's giving me almost no options for delivery and this simple delivery thing is quoting me the only available postage service which is 20kg short of the weight and almost 1.5 metres short on the item size. I'm getting no other options and no end of searching is giving me answers. If I list as is the buyer is going to be paying me far less than needed and the item will get refused at the post office because it's under paid!
Where can I just choose an appropriate service to use?

For extra larsge items you can opt out of SD and choose your own postage. Most people are having problems opting out so follow the advice on here:

You need to read the categories which can avoid using simple (Not so simple) postage, as for low value items, postage and buyer fees are far in excess of value of item purchased.
The list is long so in two parts -
Or read it all and wonder why something called simple takes so much time to explain.

Yep, can't opt out. That workaround is reason enough to just sell on another platform. I haven't got time to faff around with all that. Nice to know that eBay officially shot itself in the foot.
