Item was returned to seller by parcelforce

I bought 2 very large heavy vintage door window grills from a seller in France. Parcelforce received them from Collisimo but there was an issue with the package either damaged packaging or incorrect labelling, they didn't specify, and the goods were returned to the seller in France. Ebay refunded my payment under their guarantee but because the tracking showed the goods had been delivered, when in fact they had been delivered back to France, Ebay informed me that I can never use their guarantee again. Had they bothered to read the messages between myself and the seller it was clear that he had received the goods back but clearly they didn't bother. Obviously without their guarantee I'm reluctant to buy more expensive goods on Ebay in future and it seems impossible to contact them. Any advice?

Well if you buy something and on the listing it says MONEY BACK GUARANTEE, and you pay the buyers fee, then ebay would not be honouring their own promise and taking your money for nothing.

Typical ebay picking and  choosing which conditions they abide by.

In any case, in most cases if ebay does not honour their terms, refunds can be obtained by contacting your payment provider, who will look into a situation a lot more thoroughly than ebay.
