Hi all
I have been selling lots of stuff to the us market and suddenly nothing at all . I have contacted eBay numerous times but can’t get an answer .
my seller performance was slightly below average due to things being stolen from me and couldn’t fulfill orders but my seller performance has just gone above average . Does your listings disappear or not as visible when you are below average .
I know Vinted has crushed eBay to an extent but my 90 day total has declined rapidly .
I have been told to look at business policies to make sure I have international postage enabled but it’s very unclear . Can anyone help me get to the bottom of this please ?
many thanks in advance

I don't think you will like my advice but it is straightforward and honest.
Personally, I would not buy from you.
With 2,384 new items for sale, it is clear that you are trading and should have a business account. Currently, you have a private account and an unlawful 'no returns' policy.
The introduction of the buyer protection fee has increased prices to buy from private sellers and has perhaps made buyers look more carefully at sellers to see if they are properly registered.
Upgrade your account to a business account so that buyers can see your business details and enjoy their right to return your clothing for any reason, and your sales may improve.

How many orders did you cancel as out of stock?
Check your seller dashboard and metrics via the buttons on the link below, every cancellation will have given your account a damaging defect:
Just a heads up because you may be heading for grief with HMRC as you appear to be unaware that you should be trading on an eBay business account.
A private seller is one who is just selling off their own personal items such as clothes from their wardrobe, bits from their loft/garage etc.
A Business seller is someone who buys or makes items to sell on. They need to be registered as a business to meet the requirements of UK law. They need to declare income to HMRC once they reach £1,000 worth of sales (eBay will be providing HMRC with your details anyway so it's vital to keep correct accounts for your tax return). You can obviously offset more expenses as a business seller, but can't offset any at all as a private one.
To correctly register as a business seller simply go to your Personal Information in your account and to the right of Account Type, which will be showing as 'Individual' you'll see an Edit option.

This doesn't affect your feedback profile or any current listings, it merely upgrades your account so that you're compliant with current consumer and eBay policy.

This is the official Ebay policy - see the link below for the source.
As you are selling a large quantity of items you have bought to sell and already have a business outside of Ebay, you certainly do need a business account.
If you plan to sell casually, such as selling items you no longer want, a private account is the best option.
If you want to sell large quantities, if you have items that you've made or bought to resell or if you already have a business outside of eBay, you’ll need to register a business account.

I have a market stall and I sell women’s clothing.
So you admit to being a business.
Better you upgrade ebay account before you are closed down.

Nothing to do with being beneficial,
It's the law.
