Hi there, I have a valuable package to post to a buyer and wondering if I can hand deliver it to the eBay hub in the UK (to be authenticated and then sent on to the buyer) rather than posting it to minimise risk of potential damage/loss of item?
Many thanks for any advice!

Nope, not a good idea as you would have no proof, no tracking that the hub received the item.
Best to send it fully insured and tracked to the hub, I take it you mean the GSP hub at Lichfield? That way once tracking shows delivery to the Hub, the onward journey is no longer your responsibility for any loss in transit that may occur.

Thank you so much for this! Yup, I'll add insurance and use the Royal Mail next day/tracking service. Good to know I'm covered for the onward journey.

If it's the Tudor watch, price buyer paid includes tracked postage,
you should have link to print label after buyer pays.

Thanks Tobias. It's not the Tudor but the Omega Speedmaster and tracked next day Royal Mail only covers up to about half the value of the watch so I'll need to top up with additional insurance to be 100% covered for loss etc.

That watch is also part of authentication,
So ebay should supply link to label.

Yes but secure delivery with tracking doesn't include insurance for the full value of the watch right? Don't I need to buy extra insurance?

Ebay take the risk by supplying courier label.
As long as you can prove you sent item.
