pay in 3 refund

I received a refund on the 7th October and pay pal state that the refund was completed and refunded to pay in 3 so how do I get it? It has not gone into my bank account. It seems the refund was refunded to my original payment method that was ebay commerce because I paid with ebay pay in 3 option. I have tried to get some clarification of where the refund is from paypal and ebay, but the AI just sends me in a loop. Does anyone know how to get the refund from 'pay in 3' where paypal refunded it to?

I think you need to ask PayPal customer services that question.

I have but they say that the refund has been refunded to 'pay in 3' the original payment method and that I should contact who I bought the item off for the refund. Well the seller has refunded to paypal who have issued the refund to 'pay in 3'. From what I can gather Ebay Commerce has the refunded amount so where do I go from here?

Have you made all or any payments to your Paypal pay in 3 loan?

When a refund is issued for a pay in 3 it is applied to the Pi3 account and any balance transferred to your Paypal account

If your Pi3 balance was higher than the refund it will be reduced by that amount and there will be nothing to transfer

I paid the pi3 account off in the first month to finish it early. So when the refund was issued by paypal to the pi3 account I owed nothing. In fact the pi3 final payment would have been the end of this month, but I paid it off only a couple of weeks after the first payment. Do you think I have to wait until the pi3 would have been officially over at the end of this month before they release the refund? Thanks for the help, I just cant seem to see where this refund has gone.

As Paypal say the refund has gone t your Pi3 account it should have shown in there and then either been transferred to your Paypal account or more likely to the funding source,bank account or card etc.
