Buyer asked to cancel

Evening,

I purchased an item and not comfortable with it, I requested for cancellation but the seller refused and rather keep trying to force me to collect the item. The seller have not dispatched the item but just created a tracking Id. I just noticed that the seller registered as a private seller couple of days ago so the seller is barely 5days on the platform and hardly replies chat. I suspect the item is cloned and he keeps telling me he has sent the item and its not fake. What do i do?

Private sellers do not have to accept "change of mind" cancellations but if the item is not as described for any reason all sellers have to accept those returns.   

So wait to get the item and if it is a fake start a return on here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/buying/returns-refunds/return-item-refund?id=4041
select "Doesn't match description" and if necessary escalate it to eBay after 3 complete working days.   You will receive a paid-for postage label to send the item back.

To add, if the item doesn't arrive at all, you open a case for item not received.
