Postage....

I have sold and received payment for an item.....I requested a postage label and collection and this did not happen and so i posted the item first class to the customer.

I am unable to tell my account that the item has been sent and it is showing as being overdue!! 

How can I overide this to show it as being posted??? and will the customer be able to show it as being received so I can get the money released?

Any help will be appriciated

See if you can change the tracking number at View Order Details > Postage > Track Package > dropdown arrow.   That has to be done on a desktop browser.    If not generate the original prepaid Simple Delivery label and try again.

Afterwards if you paid for the original label you can cancel it here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/claims/simple-delivery/refund/seller
The item has to be sent with a tracked service in order to receive the refund for the unused SD label.

Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded to them automatically in 30 days.

Even if you don't manage to change the tracking the payment will be released anyway in 14 days.
