Ebay's new buyer protection fee

Due to ebay's new buyer protection fee i'm now getting ridiculous offers (offers i don't mind) but way below the value of my items and also because of this so called "protection fee".When are ebay going to revert back to the old way and stop conning people into thinking they are getting protection (they already have this with the ebay money back guarrantee).

There are no plans to revert back to the old system and remove the Buyer Protection fee.

You can write to them via the address on the front page of their User Agreement and tell them that if you wish.

I've actually phoned them and all you get quoted are "rules rules rules",Waste of time.

eBay Customer Services just deal with account related queries, they have no input on policy.

If eBay make any further changes they can be found in their Announcements section.

What is your actual question James? I'm afraid that the only question I can see in your opening post is "When are eBay going to revert back to the old way ", and I've answered that.

1 way round this issue is to upgrade to business seller.

Then BP & payment hold won't apply.

Why on earth would i want to do that and all beacuse of ebay's inadequacies.
