Hi I purchased a pair of jeans and the description did not match the item. I've asked the seller to send me a label but they are refusing saying the phot I sent to prove the item does not match the description. I cannot find a way to get eBay to step in and the auto contact does not work. Please help I cannot afford the money wasted and do not want to let this seller off with ripping me off.

Have you opened an official return case through Ebay?

Thank you for your swift reply and yes I finally found a way to get a message from the auto contact. It said I can open a case on 22nd January if this issue is not resolved so I'll do that. But thank you again for replying.
The seller messaged me about five or six times last night saying exactly the same thing IE: he is disputing paying the return postage!!!!

When a NOT ASC DESCRIBED CASE is opened seller pays for return postage. If they fail to do this that is when you can get ebay involved, in other words as you have been told escalate on the 22nd.
Keep in mind that timing is important as the opportunity to escalate will only appear at the same time you originally opened the case.
Take no notice of sellers emails, failure to supply a return label, ebay interprets as “they do not want item to be returned” and they either send you a label at sellers expense, or just refund.
If this happens and seller still wants item returned, he is back in the same situation of having to pay for postage, plus he has a damaging defect in his selling account.
