Item marked as delivered with no proof of delivery and item has not arrived.

Seller is not willing to help at all just taken the money and ran. EBay aren’t being helpful either

Where was the item marked as delivered?

If you opened a case for item not received,  and the seller entered a tracking number to show delivery,  it will only close it in the seller's favour,  so no refund,  if that tracking shows delivery.

Be aware, it's unfortunate but happens too many times,  items are left in unsafe places,  in view of passers by and thieving fingers!  Many items stolen this way,  could this have happened ?

Have you asked neighbours they may have taken delivery. Was it a Royal Mail delivery,  ask your postie where they left the item.

It was Royal Mail. And the local postie brings everything into the office as it is a business. We were open when it said delivered and no post came that day

If the item shows as delivered, then Ebay will support the seller.

If the RM tracking shows delivery to a different postcode or address, you can show that evidence to Ebay or you can try your payment provider.
