Unhelpful seller after my product no longer works

I bought a product and had issues getting the product to work and  sought help and a link was sent with manufacturers instructions. 
The product worked but then stopped and continued to do this. I left feedback saying I was concerned I'd been sold a damaged product. Finally it's stopped working completely. 
I asked the seller for help regarding information about the product that had been requested by the manufacturer. The seller has refused and been extremely unhelpful as they said I'd left negative feedback. 
Do EBay do anything about sellers like this?

That seller has 99.7% positive feedback so, although you are an unhappy buyer, you are in the minority.

Ebay won't take any action against a seller with such a high feedback rating.

If an item appears faulty, it's always best to return it promptly within the 30 days allowed by the Money Back Guarantee.
