I have just moved and passport is out of date & driving licence has been sent to DVLC & not returned

I have just moved and have traded for over 9 years with my account with no issues, I need to update my info details with phot ID But My passport is out of date and I have returned my Driving licence to the DVLA to have the address changed and it has not been returned yet, I was told by an agent that a marriage certificate and a utility type bill with my name and address would be accepted but having submitted them both I have a message saying these are not acceptable, I am getting desperate t o know what to do next,

Help please,

Wait for your driving license to come back.

When I moved in August it took less than a week so, even with Christmas post, it should only be a matter of days before you get it back.
