I’m a business seller and recently noticed that my payouts are being released 24 hours after the recorded delivery date. This wasn’t the case before.
I did switch from Royal Mail to Evri for a while, which increased my late delivery rate, but I’ve since gone back to next-day services and regained my Top Rated status. However, eBay still won’t remove the payment hold, telling me it’s now “standard practice.”
When I speak to other business sellers, this doesn’t seem to be the case for them. I’m finding it difficult to invest in higher-value white goods because pallet deliveries have no tracking integration, meaning payouts could be held for up to 30 days.
Has any other business seller (not private) experienced these payment holds recently?
