seller ended an auction early . Then relisted the item at almost 3x my bid price.

The seller ended the auction one day before it was due to end even though I had put in a bid. The Item is now listed with a buy it now price at almost 3x times my bid price. Surely this can not be allowed.

The seller had obviously made a mistake with their starting price,  so yes,   they can end the auction early, and also can cancel any bids if they wish.

Agree, it's disappointing for you ,  but it is allowed.
