Hi
Iv been selling on ebay (my own belongings) for over 10 years. Today i have tried to list some of my childrens toys but the listings have been declined saying im not eligible to sell baby/kids toys. I tried to talk to a assistant online but got the same repeat answer
I had to fulfill certain selling criteria and be registered as a buisness to sell kids toys?
Iv sold kids toys before so i am totally confused. Iv also seen and contacted other private sellers selling the exact toys and they said they havent jad this issue.
Does anyone have any idea whats goin on??

Some used children's items are not allowed to be sold by private buyers.
Do not try to relist.

Since October 2024 only registered business sellers have been allowed to sell toys for children under 36 months.
Private sellers who are listing baby toys may have listed them in the wrong age category to get around the regulations. That is a bad idea as they can be reported and Ebay will remove the listings.
In addition to the requirements above, sellers must be a business seller registered in the UK to sell the following products:

Which makes sense, howeverniv looked at multiple items the exact same to mine today, listed by private sellers and all had the toys in the 1-4yr old category.... i cant understand why mine arent accepted

It doesn't mean the others are "accepted".
It just means that yours were reported (or picked up be eBay's bots). The others have not been (yet).
