New to this - but just had a notification that buyer wants to cancel an order as “ordered in error”. Not a problem as I haven’t printed the postage label out yet however it looks like eBay will refund the buyer but then charge me for the postage label. Is there any way round this as don’t want to reject the request but if I’m going to lose out then I will have to.
thanks

You have to cancel the label if you paid for it, to get a refund.
If buyer paid if unused they are refunded automatically but it does take 30 days.

If you haven't printed/downloaded the Simple Delivery label provided, you don't need to do anything. When you cancel the order it will include the label.
If you have printed/downloaded it and offered free postage on your listing, you'll need to fill out the Request a refund for Simple Delivery form (link below) for the label that wasn’t used. Make sure to send your request within 14 days of your item selling.

Thanks for the replies. So eBay did take the cost of postage label from my bank but then subsequently refunded it straight away.
As they were my last two items that were purchased but then cancelled by buyer the item is no longer on my active selling list. I’d be interested to know whether these will eventually go back on after a time period or do i have to relist the item?
thanks

You have to relist, ebay will not do it automatically which is a good job as that is how accidents happen.
