Are you trying to escalate, to ask eBay to step in a little too soon perhaps?
Once tracking shows delivery back to the seller , it gives them 48 hours to refund you, and that is timed to the second.
Only when that period lapses, the option to escalate appears, eBay step in and force the refund.
If there are still difficulties after, contact Customer Services.
Contacting eBay Customer Services it's not easy nowadays to get a live agent , but some have had success using the app, otherwise keep typing in ' I wish to speak to an agent' and this too can work.
