Collection Only and Payment types

Hi ebayers.

I'm selling something by collection only.

Should I leave "Immediate payment" toggled on or turn it off?

I've asked for payment by ebay's code only and no cash.

I'm not sure how it works because I haven't sold something by collection before.

Thanks in advance.

What is the item you are listing for sale?

If a vehicle / motorcycle,  then cash or bank transfer are the only safe methods of receiving payment, here accept not other form , no card payment no PayPal payment , you will not see these available for the buyer on your listing.

All other items when listing  for Collection only,   the buyer will be presented with all forms of card payments and PayPal.  After purchase they must go to eBay checkout and pay by one of those means,  here cash is Not accepted.

Another important factor is the buyer must bring with them a collection code,  do not release the item without first scanning / entering those numbers  on the order details,  it's your only proof the item has been collected.

Thank you.

It's a roller blind.

I haven't used my paypal account for years and usually get payment from ebay direct to my bank. Will I need to link my paypal account to ebay?
