Help with item not received 8 months ago

Hi all I'm wanting to open a case against a seller for a item I never received 8 months ago. I'd like a refund I've tried contacting the seller but they do not reply this was on the 3rd November. And they have no items selling. I paid £5.99 free p&p I have been poorly and I had totally forgotten about the item until just recently. Am I too late to put a claim in and if I'm not I can't remember how you do it plus when I went on the item there is nothing in the drop down menu. Could anyone help me with this please? and thank you kind regards Michelle.

I'm afraid there's nothing you can do through eBay, there you have to open a case for item not received within 30 days of the item's last estimated date for delivery,  hence their 30 day MBG policy.

You are also far too late to open a charge back with your payment provider.
