There should be an option for successful bidders, once they have paid for their purchase, to have delivery deferred to a date that is convenient to them. The seller is often under pressure to fulfil the order as quickly as possible and post it immediately. If you are frequently away but bid fairly regularly, as in my case, you run the risk of the purchase being left outside if it will not go in the letterbox. Also the seller would know. automatically that feedback would be delayed.
