Hello, I have two eBay accounts, one I use and one that lies dormant as a backup. Today I reinstalled windows on my PC. I, of course, needed to reinstall everything that went with it, including my eBay account, although with it being a long time since I needed my password, I couldn’t remember it, but was able to create a new password through my phone. When I went on eBay, it was coming up that I haven’t made any purchases in quite a while, which is strange because I purchased an item just last week and need to return it due to it having a fault. It took a while before I realised, but I was on my back-up eBay account and I tried a few times to sign into my other account, but failed. I went into my email address linked to my normal account and checked mail from eBay and the seller pertaining to the item I was returning and when I tried to follow it up, I got a notification that it couldn’t be found and every time I attempt to sign in to the main account with the email address linked to that account, I get the other account. It has make sense to me and been driving me nuts with confusion, but maybe someone here could put a little light on it for me?
