I put the wrong post code on my delivery address - help!

I bought an item and checked out as a guest. When I put the delivery address, I used the pre-filled address details but didn't check it properly and didn't realise that the post code was wrong.  The item hasn't arrived - not surprisingly.

I can't contact the seller through ebay as I checked out as a guest. I have now created an account with ebay but there's no buying history associated.

Does anyone know how I can contact the seller so that they can resend the parcel when it eventually gets returned to them?

Thank you

The item may still arrive with you, even if you put the wrong postcode on.

One of the issues when you buy as a guest is that you can't communicate with the seller - if you message them from this account, they can't be sure that you are the buyer who bought from them using s guest account.

You can open an item not delivered case.  You need to find the email you got from Ebay when you paid.

Here's what to do:

  1. Find your order confirmation email. The subject line starts with "Order Confirmed".
  2. Select View order details in the body of the email.
  3. Select Contact seller.
  4. Select I haven't received my item yet.
  5. Choose No, I want to contact the seller.
  6. Fill in the details and then hit Submit.
