Cancelled purchases

I recently listed a PS4 as an auction and it sold, however the buyer cancelled the transaction almost immediately. I sent him a polite but robust message about wasting peoples time and thinking carefully when making bids. I also then blocked him.

I relisted the item and it finished tonight selling to a buyer with 0 feedback (possibly the same guy??)  and they have cancelled the transaction again.

I'm not sure why this is happening and I need some help with this.

Any thoughts?

TIA

Cancelled purchases

You can report them to ebay but it's almost impossible to stop this happening altogether.    I find the less communication with this sort of buyer the better.  Probably not the best idea to tell them off, just put them on your blocked bidder list.

I would hold off from relisting for now unless there's an underbidder you want to sell to using Second Chance Offer.

As advised, if members ask to cancel, I would generally just cancel and block them wihout any communication - why waste more of your time?

You now have a good idea of how much the PS4 will fetch so list it as a buy it now with immediate payment required - at least that way you won't have to wait for an auction to end again.
