Hi,
Just reaching out. I have add my payments placed on hold to verify my account that was already verified? I have recieved payments into it or nearly a year, your of the blue on hold.
I have discussed with eBay agents and have a suspicion it is to hold to my money foe abit for interest share dealing. To verify my account it takes 3 to 7 business days depending on method. This happened during bank holiday period so they had had several hundred pounds of my money frozen for nearly a week. If the scale this up the money ebay could make would be great.
Anyone else experienced this?

You have returned to selling after a long break, and sudden selling activity on a dormant account, raises red flags to eBay as it could be a sign the account is being hacked.
eBay, therefor wish to see the first few items safely delivered to the buyers, proving the genuine owner has returned to the account to sell.
It may be annoying to have this initial longer wait, but as a security measure , it certainly works, as I answer far, far fewer questions regarding hacked accounts.
Sell with tracking showing delivery and your payouts will soon be released 2 days after that delivery date, according to the new Simple Delivery rules.

From your feedback I can see you have received no feedback for 6 months. Even a few months break and a return, can cause these long security payment holds.
