Hi, I’d appreciate your insights and guidance on a matter. I’m a small seller based in Europe with only a few active listings. eBay recently introduced a new listing policy regarding sales to the United States, and I received a notification about it. I’ve updated all my listings to exclude the US from shipping, yet one of my listings priced above US$500 was still ended by eBay. Could you explain why this happened, and why there are still active listings from sellers in Germany and France priced above US$500 that continue to ship to the US?
Ebay message:
Dear,
In order to maintain shipping performance standards in light of recent legislative changes in the USA, your listings will cease to be permitted according to our policy: https://export.ebay.com/en/regulations/ebay-policies/ebay-seller-listing-policy-update-for-sales-to-....
Impacted Listings: 1.listings that have a value in excess of US$500; and 2.are being shipped to the USA.
Automatic Ending: Please note that any listings that breach the policy will be ended automatically by eBay, without any further notice being given or compensation being paid.
Support: If you have any questions about the new policy or how it will affect you, please: 1.refer to the following link: https://export.ebay.com/en/regulations/ebay-policies/ebay-seller-listing-policy-update-for-sales-to-...; or 2.contact eBay using: hisappeals@ebay.com.
Thanks for your understanding.

Your home site appears to be ebay.com, so I'd contact their CS department and would ask them.

Thank you for your quick response, my account is on eBay.co.uk and I create my listings there, the currency is GBP (£). I can't use ebay.de/ or other European sites since I only speak English.

You've been contacted by the US site though, so that's who you'd need to respond to.
