Hi,
Opted to have an item I bought delivered to an Evri parcelshop. Seller didn't put the tracking code on the details, so I requested it. Waited a few days -it said it was on it way. A few days later having received no notification to pick up from the parcelshop I tracked again and it said it was delivered erec yesterday afternoon. However it wouldn't accept the parcelshop postcode for further deliver details. Contacted the seller and it turns out the parcelshop rejected the parcel and it was returned to sender. Neither of us know what to do now. She's paid for delivery to parcelshop which didnt happen. I've paid for the item plus a fair amount for delivery and don't have anything. Advice on how to proceed please. PS. The reason I close Evri parcelshop is because of we're out delivery drivers tend to drop items over the gate and this item is fragile.
Any advice gratefully received

Open an "Item nor received" dispute. You will win the case if your seller cannot provide tracking to the parcel shop.

They can prove it went to the parcelshop, but the parcelshop rejected it and asked for it to be returned to sender. No idea why. Neither us know what to do next.

But what is the status of the tracking? It can't say delivered from what you say?

This is a strange one. The item doesn't actually say it was delivered to the parcel shop, but it says delivered to the sender. If the seller has indeed received the item back why are they not refunding? They've got your item and your money. Ask them will they please refund you now that they have the returned item back.
If they still don't refund you I suggest contacting ebay customer services and ask for a call back

Did the item meet the requirements of Evri parcelshops? what was the item?
All items must be a maximum weight of 15kg and no longer than 1.2m. This could have been a reason it was rejected.

It's hard to predict what eBay would decide if you opened a money back guarantee case.
If the parcel is tracked as delivered you would not get a refund. If it was marked as delivery refused this may have invalidated eBay's money back guarantee altogether.
As the seller now has the parcel back it would surely be easier for both of you to work it out between you? Even if it means agreeing to cancel the sale and start again.
