Evri simple delivery

Hi, I have recently sold a couple of things, the first item, I was able to select my own postage method as I didn't want to use simple delivery as its evri. However I've sold something else and there's no option other than to send with evri. Firstly the drop off point for evri is much further from my home, whereas there's a royal mail click & drop box very near. I have many other old listing, is there any way to opt those out of simple delivery? Or would I need to relist them all to be able to do this? I refuse to use evri so I may just have to cancel/remove them all if this is the only option. I want to be in charge of my own postage etc and evri are rubbish, I'm concerned about things not getting delivered.

You can only opt out of using Simple Delivery if the custom postage is available during the listing process.   You can try revising your current listings.

Thank you. I've checked my other listings and they all show custom postage, this one I've sold was an old listing, listed as royal mail tracked 48 so I'm not sure why the only option for this one is simple delivery when I'm sure it would have been custom page like all the others (30+)

If you want to use RM for the one that's sold you'd have to cancel/refund with buyer's agreement (via the dropdown actions menu for the item on your sold list)  and relist after opting out of Evri, for the buyer to buy again.

The alternative would be to buy the RM postage from your own pocket and cancel the Evri label here:

Or if the buyer paid for it it will be refunded automatically in 30 days.   Then see if you can add the new tracking number via the dropdown menu (on your browser, not the app).    If not the payment will be released anyway in 14 days.

That's very useful info, thank you. I just googled and apparently even if you chose custom postage at listing, ebay are changing it to simple delivery as they roll this new way out. I'd be more than happy to use simple delivery if there were courier options,  Inc RM - which I hope will be the case as only having evri as an option is ridiculous.
