How do I tell eBay I’ve picked up an item

I recently picked up an item that the seller had said was being delivered ( because he couldn’t find a way to say it was being picked up ) 

how do I tell eBay I now have the item?

You as the buyer cannot.  You can leave feedback,  but if you didn't have a 6 digit code to give the seller on collection, there's nothing to show / prove delivery , and the seller will have to wait at least 14 days before their payout is released.
