I just accepted an offer from a seller for £25 (including postage). When I pressed pay, however, I was charged the original asking price of £27.75. In the past, when I press ‘buy’ I h ave always been charged the advertised final price. I have been in touch with the seller, but she isn’t interested in reimbursing me the £2.75, saying that eBay adds on a buyer’s protection fee, but that is included in the offer price, as far as I know. I have tried to contact eBay, but had no luck. Can anyone help, please? I know it’s a very small amount, but I have saved to make a purchase and have no spare cash

When a seller makes an offer the BP fee is added on top so the buyer pays more than the offer.

To add.
Any offer is for item only, so you will still pay any P&P listed.

Thanks very much for your reply. The offer included p&p, so the offer should have been the final price, according to the eBay guidelines. Thanks very much fro taking the time to reply anyway

Do you mean the item was listed with free postage?
If not, offers are always for the item price only, messages can't override that.
