Could your workforce benefit from upskilling in key areas such as technology, data and AI? eBay is partnering with Multiverse to invite eligible businesses to access funding for training and development for your teams.
The Apprenticeship Levy is a government initiative that enables businesses to fund apprenticeship training at no extra commercial cost. We’re opting to use our levy to fund development among our seller community, allowing your teams to access new skills, business coaching and digital transformation.
Please note that there are a limited number of spaces available and businesses applying for the apprenticeship programme must fit the below criteria, as outlined by the UK Government:
Considerations for businesses
- We recommend that you have at least 8 employees, given there is a time commitment for your employees to participate in the upskilling programme
- Please consider offering this to candidates who would most benefit from accelerated development and/or an additional qualification, e.g. those from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds or who didn’t attend university
- The intention is not to hire or onboard any new recruits for your organisation via this apprenticeship programme, it is exclusively for upskilling existing team members
Considerations for employees
- You must have the right to work in the UK, or have lived in the UK or EEA for the last 3 years
- You must be an existing full-time employee, who will be able to commit an average of 6 hours per week for 12-15 months to participate in the upskilling programme
- You must be able to apply the skills you’ll develop directly into your role, so that you can use the programme to build your impact on the job
- You must not have already completed similar training previously
