Cole and Mason salt and pepper mills

Bought this set 11 months ago , last month it fell apart. The company  Don't want to know. They don't recognise the 12 month warranty period.

Do not buy from this company. Ebay should ban then as they are fiddling Ebay customers.

Ebay MBG is only for 30  days.

So they won't get involved after that.

If it was UK business seller, contact citizens advice for help.

Cole and Mason salt and pepper mills

The Cole and Mason salt and pepper mills were purchased from a company advertising on Ebay. I have statuary customer rights, if a company, such as this one, is selling on your site and they refuse to abide by the law by not offering a full warranty, it should be made clear in their advertisement, i.e. 'WE DO NOT OFFER A GENUINE FULL WARRANTY', or if they are selling used good (on the pretence that they are new), again they should make that clear? They (and in effect Ebay) are breaking the law! I will be seeking advice on this and any costs which I incur will be passed on to Ebay! It's quite odd really, and somewhat suspicious how Ebay are not looking into this, and not holding their seller responsible?
I my experience with disputes, Ebay are all over this sort of thing. In fact, I have had disputes in the past, where I have been the seller, and I cannot recall a time when you took my side! The buyer has always been favoured over the seller! This is very odd. If Ebay is somehow involved with this company, we want to be made aware? Does Ebay own this fly by night company?
Look forward to your response?

Regards.

You are not communicating with ebay here, just other members like you.

I suggest you read the user agreement before considering action against ebay.

Ebay is not breaking any law.  Your disagreement is with the seller over your statutory rights and the warranty.
