hi I have a complicated return..and the seller is not helpful...how do I get to speak to a human or a telephone number for them.

Have you opened a case using the money back guarantee?
That is your first step. You can escalate to ebay within the case.

Yep, you open a case for each item.
Listen to no excuses from the seller to close the case early. Once closed a case cannot be reopened.
If you are returning for a case of item not as described, the seller has to provide the tracked return label at their cost.
They have 3 days to accept each case, and on receipt of their items they have 48 hours to refund you. If they don't , you escalate the cases, ask eBay to step in and they'll force the refund.
