I'm based in the UK and I purchased a bag from a UK business seller on the 17th. The seller marked it as dispatched the same day, but only posted the item on the 23rd. It was delivered on the 25th. Today is the first time that I have used the bag and one side of the shoulder strap has almost completely detached from the bag. It was only held on by one line of very simple stitching and is literally hanging on by a thread. The bag looks exactly as described but isn't fit for the intended purpose. The description says that the bag is durable and is perfect for carrying heavy items such as books, laptops etc...
I may be able to repair the bag so I don't want to return it, but would I be able to get a full or partial refund? And how would I go about doing so?

Open item not as described case, seller provides a returns label, you post back for full refund.
Escalate on day 4 if no label or refund.
Seller can make a 1 off part refund offer through case, if you accept, you get refund and case closes.
