Buyer has broken my golf club and now wants his money back

Hello,  this is the first time I have used this help facility.  I have a perfect eBay rating stretching back years.

I recently sold a golf club in excellent condition. Three weeks later the buyer has contacted me and said the club has been used twice and is now broken.  He has sent me pictures which clearly show it’s been used far in excess of twice and it looks like it has been abused.  I have asked several times for specific pictures but he keeps taking them from the same angle.  He’s clearly doing this because I can see that if he changes the angle the picture will clearly show the club has been abused.

He has now passed the dispute onto eBay and I am very worried I am going to lose my money and be left with a wrecked golf club.  Can anyone please advise what I should do?  Thank you

eBay tend to side with buyers but you can appeal here:
https://www.ebay.co.uk/help/selling/managing-returns-refunds/appeal-outcome-case-seller?id=4369

You could also contact ebay direct by requesting a callback on here:

Best of luck.

Thank you.  I have had a chat with a very helpful man and have started the returns process.  I have to follow the eBay procedure even though it is clear I have done nothing wrong.  The man has literally shattered the club head.  He shouldn’t receive a single penny refund.
