Returns after 90 days

I want to return an item under a year warranty, but can’t receive or send details to the seller because of eBay rules, the seller wants me to return the item but cant send me the address, this is after the 90 days return policy, how do I proceed?

Returns after 90 days

You cannot report this to eBay as they do not offer warranties or guarantees on items, just that they are just as described on receipt.  If they are not,  a buyer has 30 days under eBay's 30 day MBG,  Money Back Guarantee policy,  to return the item for a full refund.

If you bought this from a Private seller you are too late to claim a refund.  You may still be in time tlo try for a refund from your payment provider,  worth a shot there.

If purchased from a registered UK business, who offered a guarantee and is now not upholding this,  then turn to Citizens Advice for your next steps,  if you wish to take this further.

I assume you bought from a business seller.

They should have contact details in the 'About' section of their current listings.

See if there is an address/phone number/alternative email address you can use to contact them.

Ebay won't get involved in your return so make sure you send using a tracked service.

Ok thanks, the item has a years manufacturer warranty, but needs to be sent back to the supplier, the supplier is asking to go through eBay because we can’t send numbers to each other, I must admit the seller is not very helpful
