Hello I'm new to selling on ebay so please forgive if you have heard this all before I sold an item and after all the fees all said and done my earnings were £12.30 once this was paid into my eBay account it was down to £8.88 ? I just cannot identify where the difference has gone inhave looked on the transaction activity page but nothing stands out to me any help would be much appreciated.

You are selling items with free delivery.

So buyer pays you total, you then use this money to buy postage through ebay.

Yes I am I can see that I have had fees for the postage like in the screen shot from the original sale but in the transaction page I can see another separate fee for postage is this normal or have I done something that has resulted in a second fee

Postage fee is deducted when you buy it.

This means you may use funds from previous sales, as you don't get new funds released immediately buyer pays.
