Authentication

I’ve bought and sold items via eBay that have been processed via their authenticator. However, I’ve recently bought an item which was sent to be authenticated but it’s been delivered to a collection point and not the Rapid AP1 warehouse. Has anyone else come across this before?

There seem to be a lot of scams about at the moment where sellers apparently send items to a collection point and then nothing else happens.

The sellers involved mainly seem to be accounts which haven't sold for ages and then suddenly list high end items.  After the sale and payment, they don't respond to messages from buyers.

Hopefully, this is not the scenario here.

All you can do at the moment is 'wait and see'.

If your item clearly doesn't move on to the authenticator, start an item not received claim one day after the latest estimated delivery date.
