You should not have replaced the item but refunded through a case the buyer should open.
Have they received the replacement? Perhaps they do not know one is on its way ?
If they still have a case opened for a refund, if they don't close it, they can escalate on day 4 and eBay will force the refund.
Nothing you can do but rely now on the buyer's honesty not to escalate for that refund.
Always refund, as said, and through an eBay case. Then, they can buy another item from you if they wish, from your eBay listing.

Yes, you could send them a message to please close the case.
If they don't close it, eBay will only force you to refund if they escalate the case. Otherwise, it will just time out and close if they don't do anything.
