Go to your Purchase History page, and see how many items you actually purchased.
This can sometimes also happen, and you'll see the second payment is ' pending' and will disappear.
If it doesn't , contact eBay Customer Services, wait just over an hour until 8 a.m. that's when ' live agents' appear, and then there's more chance of Dublin answering. They have full access to your account and can explain what has happened.
