Help regarding Postage on a Sunday

Hi.

I've just received a notification that my Item has been posted.
It is currently Sunday and I had purchased the item earlier today.

However I am a little bit confused as I had originally thought Royal Mail don't typically accept collections on Sunday.

How does the posting system typically work on a Sunday?

I am new to this and so I'm curious to know how this would usually play out.
Any help is much appreciated, thanks!

As you as you get your postage label the order is marked as dispatched, even though it hasn't been.

I have a local post office, with notice in window, if shop is open so is the post office, so they are open 7 days a week, from 7am to 10pm.

So it is possible to post on a Sunday, but it is not your problem. You just need to receive your purchase, if not you open a not received case to get a refund.

In any case using ebay’s systems, items are marked as posted, when label is printed.
