I just sold an expensive jacket and it went through the Authenticity guaranteed process. The description was spot-on and there were even measurements on the jacket both width and length clearly showing with tape measures. The size Label was also is inside. The lady loves the jacket but said it “doesn’t fit” in a private message to me. But in her description she put she wants to return it because it’s not as described. I know we have no chance in ever denying the return when that happens but this is so wrong. This is not allowed in many other European countries like Netherlands and Germany on Ebay.
Has anybody else had a similar problem once it’s been through the guarantee and if so, what was your outcom?

Rant over!

I was under the impression buyers can't return items as snad once they have been through the authentification process. They can however, return as change of mind, if you allow these.

Give me a minute and I will try and find the link.

Here is what the MBG says about it. Buyers cannot open a snad case after passing the Authenticity guarantee.

Returns with Authenticity Guarantee

If a buyer wants to return an authenticated item, your return policy as stated in the listing will apply. Authenticated items are covered by eBay Money Back Guarantee, assuming all other eligibility criteria are met. For full details, read our eBay Money Back Guarantee policy.

I'd respond to the return with "Dear buyer, this coat was sold via eBay's Authenticity Guarantee, which means that they check the coat over to confirm that it's exactly as described before sending it on to you. In a private message to me you have stated that you actually want to return the coat because it doesn't fit. This is an abuse of eBay's returns policy. The coat won't be returned to me, it will be returned to the Authenticator who originally confirmed that it is as described, so you may wish to reconsider this claim and sell the coat yourself".
