VeRo policy has stated my listing violated the policy?

I have a corner TV stand that I am trying to sell, but after several weeks of it being listed, it suddenly got 'hidden' due to apparently violating the VeRO brand name and misuse policy.

When I bought the stand some years ago from SCS, it was listed as being a Jali Sheesham TV Corner stand, which is what I listed it as, but when I got the violation against it I thought the quickest way to get it back online and visible would be to remove the Jali and Sheesham references from the title and listing, but it is still coming up as a violation, so I can't understand why this is happening?

The annoying thing is, that the response I received from eBay was to say this determination was made using automation or artificial intelligence, and that it came to their attention through automated detection!

Why then did it not pick this up when it was first listed, and secondly why does it not allow me to relist it now I have removed any such branding names??

Once an item has violated ebay policies it's flagged so would be removed if relisted.

Vero have owner rights and can stop there brands being sold on ebay,so best sell it elsewhere or get a defect or suspension on your account if you try to list it a 3rd time!

It was apparently AI generated search that said it was a VeRO issue, but as I explained to eBay customer services, the brand used, was the actual brand that I bought, so hence why I couldn't understand why it was flagged.

I did end up relisting as a new listing, without any of the brand details in... then my brother-in-law took a fancy to it, so ended up taking it off sale anyway! Families eh!😄 He could have saved me a lot of time and hassle, if he had taken it the first time we offered it to him.

No problem as long as eBay don't pick it up as an off eBay deal.
