Selling with Authentication Guarantee

Hi Ebay Community

is there an option to verify Brands with uploaded photos or sending product to ebay before completing a sale?

i would not like to advertise fake products but sometimes the item is a secondhand sale without packaging or reciepts. The new Authenticity Guarantee only allows once sale has been complete. I would pay for the  postage to ebay and returns postage if not available via photos.

There is no such facility.  If it's a branded item you could try getting it checked by a retailer for that brand.

At no time do ebay (they are based in Dublin) ever handle an item sold or for sale.

Only time items pass through an ebay service is Global Shipping and Authentication.
