EBay have cancelled a sale I made over a week ago!

EBay have just emailed me to say that they have cancelled a sale I made for an item which I sent 2 days post sale as per eBay’s rules and I received this cancellation message nearly a week later!! They said the account had ‘security concerns’

the email advised that I don’t send the item etc but it’s already gone a week ago, I’ve had the money in my account and used it to buy other items, one which will arrive tomorrow.

what the hell!? I cannot even contact someone at eBay to see what is going on here? Why did eBay send this email so late? Also will eBay take the money from me now? I don’t even know where my item is! Surely with the buyer etc. eBay has become so, so *bleep* lately.

Ebay won't take the money back and really you don't need to do anything.

The last time I had a similar email, I had sent the item weeks before and the buyer was actually a repeat buyer.

Something has happened to make Ebay decide the buyer is 'dodgy' but it should not affect your transaction.

If you do happen to hear from the buyer or they try and get a refund, contact Ebay.

Otherwise, I would say this happens to many sellers and you don't need to worry about it.
