No GSP anymore to Switzerland?

In the past there were always lots of seller's who shipped to Switzerland via eBay's GSP. Since beginning / mid of May 2025 there have basically been no listings at all. And those they remained don't list any postage.

Does anyone know why is this so? 

I've been buying from eBay UK for ages but like this eBay is no use for me at all. Does eBay want to become a Shein/Temu clone only selling cheap waste?

eBay have introduced Simple Delivery for Private sellers,  and there are  some significant problems with Simple Delivery and international postage for eBay UK sellers, particularly since the mandatory introduction of Simple Delivery on April 15, 2025. Simple Delivery is designed for UK domestic deliveries, and it doesn't directly support international shipping, leading to several issues for sellers. 

 

Here's a breakdown of the problems:

• No Combined International Postage:

  Simple Delivery prevents sellers from creating combined invoices for international buyers, making it difficult to offer discounted postage for multiple items. 
• Inaccurate International Postage Costs:

  The system forces sellers to select a single "worldwide" postage cost, potentially leading to overpayment by buyers and dissatisfaction. 
• Global Shipping Programme (GSP) Issues:

  While GSP is available for international shipping, it's not without its problems, and some users report it being unreliable or difficult to use. 
• GSP Removal:

  There have been reports of GSP being temporarily removed or malfunctioning for some sellers, causing confusion and frustration. 

   

  It looks like it can take  a little while for all this to be sorted and international  postage to run smoothly with this transition for Private sellers,  to Simple Delivery.

To add to problems listed, ebay has also introduced Business Policies, completely unnecessary, but it prevents sellers changing their settings and quoting international postage.
