Very few sellers leave feedback.

As a buyer , I only leave feedback once a seller has left feedback for me.

Feedback is voluntary. There are 60 days in which to leave it too, some leave feedback later as they wish to try / use the item purchased.

You will find though, as a general ' rule' , most sellers will wait for a buyer to leave feedback first before leaving any , as sellers can only leave positive feedback.

Leave positive feedback immediately, and a buyer can become the ' buyer from hell', so sellers as said, will generally wait for feedback to be left first ,before reciprocating.

And as a seller I only leave after buyer has left for me.

All a seller can say is that you paid, leaving you to then do whatever you want, open cases, leave bad feedback etc. Seller cannot then change any comments about what a wonderful buyer you are.

Many sellers only leave feedback when the buyer has left it for them.

If you expect the seller to leave it first, what are they to say? All they can say is that you have paid, which would make feedback is meaningless. Of course you have paid - if you didn't, you would have had an unpaid item strike from eBay and neither party would be able to leave feedback.

Feedback is supposed to cover the whole transaction - including how any problems were dealt with. If there are no problems and the buyer was happy with the item, how is the seller to know this until you leave feedback to say so? Plenty of sellers have trusted buyers by leaving feedback too quickly, only to find that they have left positive feedback for a buyer from hell.

So if you don't let sellers know you're satisfied with your purchases, you can't be surprised if they don't leave you feedback.
