I want to relist an item but when I click to list it, it says I can’t because it’s already automatically relisted. But it isn’t. I’ve deleted all my listings, and have zero unsold, relisted or not-relisted. What can I do?

When did you try to relist the item?
New listings or relists can take twenty-four hours to show up in searches, but it is usually sooner than that. Look again tomorrow.

Thanks but this does not help at all. The issue is eBay says I can’t relist it as I already have an automatic relisting. But I don’t. All the sold or unsold listings have been deleted ages ago. I don’t have *any* other listings, so can’t have, or turn off, automatic relisting on any of them. It appears to be a bug.
Grateful for some advice on what to do, or if this affects anyone else? It’s been a few days now.
I know selling is going to be free but didn’t realise that was because it wasn’t actually going to be possible to sell anything.

This has happened to me a few times in the past, think there are 2 workarounds for you to try.
If eBay is saying "auto relist selected" when you try to relist an item, even though you haven't chosen that option, it likely means the automatic relisting feature is still enabled on that specific listing; to fix this, you need to go to your unsold listings, find the item, and manually disable the "auto relist" option in the listing details before attempting to relist it again.
Or, instead of selecting Relist, select Sell Similar remove the auto relist from the 'see pricing options' far right of Pricing >> Format Auction, and list the item.
